	Mrs Gargi Prasad takes over as President of the Association.
	A family picnic was organized by the Association on 12th Feb. 2011 at Sunder Nursery. On this occasion more than 50 saplings were planted by Sh. C.S.Prasad DG, CPWD and other retired and serving officers of CPWD. Many children of CPWD family participated in the event which was followed by contributory lunch.
	On the 1st Feb.2011, children from all seven crèches of Bal Basera were taken for a picnic at Buddha Garden. Various competitions for children were held and prizes were distributed by the President and senior members of the Association. Teachers of IIT Delhi crèche were awarded the first prize for maintaining the best crèche. Children were also served lunch.
	The month of March is being observed as Flag Day and President along with the executive members of the Association visited Hon'ble President of India, Hon'ble Vice president of India, Hon'ble LG of Delhi, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi, DG CPWD office and Delhi PWD offices to raise funds for the Association.
	The association organised a musical evening on the eve of 157th CPWD Day on 11th July 2011.A souvenir & Telephone Directory was also released on this occaison.Actress Shabana Azami was the chief guest.Singer Sumedha Karmahe enthralled the audience with her magical voice.The evening was followed by contributory dinner.
