The Annual Day & Christmas was celebrated for the School & Day Care children at Hriday Kunj today. The children performed and enjoyed thoroughly. All the children were given gifts & goodie bags.The members of the Executive body encouraged and appreciated them.

An Art & Craft competition was organized for the Bal basera children to bring out their hidden talent and inculcate competitive spirit in them. They participated with full enthusiasm and prizes were given to the winners.
The Bal Sevikas were also given gifts to appreciate their hard work.
The Executive members and Senior members appreciated the art work done by the children and encouraged them.

A Sports event was held for the school children at Hriday Kunj. The children participated enthusiastically in different type of races and games. Winners were given prizes.All the children were given goodie bags.

The CPWD-OWA (Delhi) organized 'DIWALI CELEBRATION' for its members at Hriday Kunj.
Jyotsna Banerjee, an eminent Kathak dancer gave graceful dance performances which the audience loved.
The Scholarships for 'Satya Goel Memorial Award' were distributed to eight children of group C employees by Sh O P Goel.
Sh Shailendra Sharma, DG and Smt Manju Sharma, President OWA made the evening lively with melodious songs.
The members played some fun games and tambola which they enjoyed thoroughly. The programme concluded on a joyful note and the members enjoyed the delectable food.

The festival of JANMASHTAMI was celebrated with great enthusiasm by our tiny tots at Hriday Kunj.
The children came dressed as Lord Krishana and Radha. They also did some art activities related to the festival.

CPWD-OWA (Delhi) organized a picnic for the Bal Basersa children at Buddha Jayanti Park .
Games were arranged for the children and winners were given prizes.
All the children were given return gifts.The award for best creche went to the one at Gandhi market labour camp.
The event was attended by members of the executive body and senior members. Refreshments and lunch was served to all.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the outing.

MRS. ARCHANA JAYASWAL was given a Farewell and MRS. MANJU SHARMA was welcomed as the new President of CPWD Officers Wives Association.
